I woke up this morning feeling a tad ill, I had a saw throat and swollen glands so pete the nurse gave me some throat losengers and tablets before I hiked the mountain which is 4,802 ft high, the view was amazing from up their, could see so far and the mountains just rolled on and on into teh distance, from the summit we could see mouont washington which has the most extreme weather on earth, with teh worlds highest windspeed ever recorded at 231mph, it took 1/12 hrs to hike to the summit and the same back, it was very taxing on teh legs.

For this afternoon I have chilled out in hanover, watched some baseball, had a burrito at a nice place and then chilled out in a restaraunt called mollys.
Other things that have happened, I have worked so hard last week and this week, teh kids have been making alsorts of projects from mini bowling alleys to the senior A's making a full size wooden couch which they are using their spare matress as a cushion, it fits 4 and we made it in like 2 days, was pretty astonishing, their should be a picture posted on the moosilauke web site soon, so as well as having every odd night off believe me its very hard work here, the kids always need attentions etc... some days you really feel how difficult it can be and others are so rewarding! the philosophy at camp moose is work hard play hard.
To Dad and Neale, I'd love to have a round of golf here with you the fairways and greens are so well kept, the weather is perfect for it also, It would be such a relaxing chilled out day, I have played putt putt mini golf a few times but thats nothing compared to the full sizers!
